Tipping Point viewers have slammed ITV producers after they aired the same Christmas special in 24 hours.

During Thursday’s instalment of the popular game show, TV bosses treated fans to a one-year-old celebrity special of the show, but many noticed something familiar about the show on air.

Ben welcomed Joe Swash, Clare Balding and Sherrie Hewson on the special edition of the show titled Tipping Point Lucky Stars as the battled in out to earn the most money for their chosen charity.

But eagle-eyed viewers couldn’t help but notice the exact same ITV show was aired just one day earlier on ITV2.

During the winter special, Joe sadly went out in the first round followed by Sherrie after they failed to match the sporting presenter’s wealth of knowledge.

When it came down to the final round, the broadcaster managed to win more than £20,000 for her chosen charity which was for Street Vets.

The charity is the first pet friendly homeless shelter so that the resident with no fixed abode wouldn’t be forced to leave his furry friend behind.

And it didn't take long before viewers took to Twitter to share their frustrations at the lazy organisation online throughout the show.

One user penned: “No seriously they have already shown this #tippingpoint it was on last night.”

Another fumed: “ITV producers are getting lazier and lazier. This ep of #tippingpoint was on ITV 2 yesterday.”

A third fan of the ITV game shows begged: “Hope #thechase aint a repeat unall #tippingpoint.”

However, not everyone agreed with the frustration at airing the repeat, as one fan chimed in with: “Just caught the end of #TippingPoint.

“Repeat from last year when brilliant @clarebalding won and as a result @streetvetuk benefitted.” with three hands clapping emojis.
