The Chase fans were so impressed with chaser Anne Hegerty's singing talent on Monday that they're convinced she's set for an album release.
Anne was up against four contestants on Monday's instalment of the popular quiz show, with Mel, Bev, Bertie and Linda preparing to attempt to make off with a cash prize.
It was Mel taking to the podium when Anne surprised him and host Bradley Walsh with a beautiful rendition of Don McLean's iconic hit track American Pie.
Mel was clearly blown away, as he commented: "That was a good audition!"
Bradley swooped in with a compliment of his own, as he told Anne: "I tell you what, you've got a lovely voice, Anne! A lovely voice!"
Not one to brag, Anne said: "I've just had lunch, I can't breathe very well. It was a big lunch, so my lungs don't expand very well."
But fans watching from home weren't to be deterred, as they quickly flocked to social media to comment on Anne's singing skills, with one even begging for Anne and Bradley to release a CD together.
"Anne wants to duet with Bradley on his next CD!" they quipped, as another posted: "Yaaay, brilliant vocals @anne_hegerty!"
Someone else echoed: "Haha love it when Anne sings on #TheChase!"
Another fan couldn't help referencing Shaun Wallace's own singing talents, which he often demonstrates on the show as The Dark Destroyer.
"I'm impressed, Anne. And I thought there was only one singing chaser round town! #TheChase," they quipped with a cheeky GIF of Shaun.
And another social media user was keen for Anne to expand her singing talents to other shows, as they begged: "I've never watched that Celebrity Karaoke Club but I f***ing would if Anne goes on it!"
"Everyone at home singing along with Anne! #TheChase," someone else said, as another followed up: "Just seen Shaun on the drums, Anne sing and thought I'd pay money to see #TheChase band – all the chasers singing and playing instruments!"
Anne certainly isn't the only one involved on the show with musical talent, as Shaun recently flaunted his impressive singing voice with a rendition of Bob Marley’s I Shot the Sheriff while playing the air guitar.
Jenny Ryan – AKA The Vixen – also left fans stunned during her appearance on Celebrity X Factor in 2019, blowing the audience away with her impressive vocals and eventually coming in third place.
And host Bradley Walsh, of course, isn’t without his own musical credits, having released his debut album Chasing Dreams back in 2016.
The album included covers of jazz standards like Mr Bojangles and That’s Life, as well as the title track – an original song written by Bradley.
He released his second cover album When You’re Smiling just a year later in 2017, which reached Number 11 in the UK charts.
The Chase airs from 5pm weekdays on ITV.
