Stacey Solomon devastated as she has to leave family and home again for work

STACEY Solomon relished cuddles with her youngest kids that bit more as she made the most of family time before heading to work.

The Loose Women panelist, 32, has been praised by fans for her candid account of life as a young mum, including her feelings of "insecurity" in swimwear.

Just five months ago, Stacey welcomed baby Rose – her second child with Joe Swash.

Earlier this month she revealed her major new telly gig hosting Bake Off: The Professionals, but yesterday told of its impact on family life.

Stacey took to Instagram to post a tender black and white snap of son Rex, aged two, holding her hand, and wrote: "Had all the Rexy cuddles and stories tonight before I go back down to film more Bake Off.

"Hope you had a lovely Friday. Lots of love from us."

In the next slide, she uploaded an image of Rose in a floral baby grow and added: "It's a bright and early start today so that I can get ready to head down to Bake Off but first tea, cuddles and tummy time with Rose and Rex.

"Happy Saturday everyone hope you have a lovely day."

She added a watery-eyed Emoji icon to show her devastation before using a new Iconic make-up palette to get ready.

Stacey is a mum of four has eldest son Zachary, 13, with ex-boyfriend Dean Cox and nine-year-old Leighton with ex-fiancé Aaron Barnham.

Stacey will soon host the iconic Channel 4 show, taking over from comedian Tom Allen.

The chuffed star took to social media to announce the news: "I just saw that Bake Off posted, so I can finally say that the reason I've been going off and filming every few weeks is because I'm going to be presenting Bake Off the professionals this year.

"I was so excited when they asked me, I've filmed a couple of episodes and it's just been so much fun.

"Everyone is so lovely and I basically count them in and say 'ready steady go' and then I just eat cake all day.

"It's such a cool job, I love it so much. I'm just so excited about it, I can't wait to film the rest of it and I can't wait for you to see it."

Stacey also said that she was "nervous" to follow in comedian Tom's footsteps.

She added: "He's been so kind and helpful and we've filmed a couple of episodes and everyone's been so so lovely."

Sharing a photo of the new team, Stacey concluded: "I honestly can't believe it.

"Love you all so so much, I don't think I'd get the chance to do any of these amazing things without your support and kindness, so THANK YOU for being the best Insta family anyone could wish for."

The Loose Women panellist will co-host alongside series eight contestant of the main show and Junior Bake Off judge Liam Charles.
