Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) was devastated when Johnny (Richard Hawley) announced the news in Coronation Street that he would be putting The Rovers Return up for sale.
Thankfully for Jenny, worrying about who her new business partner will be will only last a short while as she’ll team up with Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) so they can run the pub together.
Sean (Antony Cotton) suggests to Daisy that as a one-off, they could tear up Carol’s (Emma Hartley-Miller) contract. Daisy’s not having any of it and urges Carol to get out and sell.
When a horrified Sean finds Carol unconscious on a bench, he calls a doctor.
Meanwhile, with a potential pub buyer due, Daisy suggests to Jenny that she take out a loan and they buy the pub together.
Determined to put things right, Sean asks Daniel (Rob Mallard) to write a news article exposing the rip-off that is Double Glammy.
Daisy returns from the bank and announces she’s secured a loan off the back of her Double Glammy earnings.
As Jenny tells Johnny to cancel the viewing as she and Daisy are buying the pub, Daisy begs Daniel not to submit his article.
It’s not looking good, will Daniel publish the article?
Where will things lead if word gets out that Daisy’s bought into a pub with money from a dodgy company?
