Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway was back tonight, and the presenting double act revealed that it was the first show to be aired on the 29th February ever, with the Leap Year falling on a Saturday.
The special date every four years is the date when women often propose to their partners, following an Irish tradition, with the boys using this for a new segment on their show.
Ant and Dec revealed that a member in tonight's audience had proposed to her boyfriend 22 times in secret since December ahead of the big day.
Viewers were shown pictures she had taken every time she proposed to her boyfriend without him knowing, from behind his back to him being asleep.
She proposed to him behind his back, literally, and took photos of her holding up a ring in a box.
She was waiting until they were in the Saturday Night Takeaway audience to pop the question for real.
"I'm so sorry to do this to you like this," she told her boyfriend.
She then proceeded to ask him if he would marry her, and he said yes while fighting back tears.
Before accepting her proposal, he did admit that he didn't realise he was the man in the pictures until the seventh photo, which got a laugh out of the audience.
Ant had to get him to repeat his answer because it was rather muffled.
Ant and Dec then proceeded to present a segment in which they had a handful of women propose to their boyfriends.
It was touch and go during a few of the proposal, but thankfully all the men said yes.
It would have been a bit of a downer if someone had said "no", viewers pointed out.
Ant and Dec breathed a sigh of relief at the end of the segment admitting that they were worried for a few of the proposals.
*Saturday Night Takeaway returns next Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
