Shirley plans to destroy Phil and Sharon for Tina in EastEnders

Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) is on a mission to find Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) in EastEnders, and next week, she devises a plan to get revenge on Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) for their role in her sister’s disappearance.

Viewers will know that Sharon, having discovered Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) part in the demise of her son Dennis Rickman (Bleu Landau), joined forces with Phil last year in order to destroy him.

The twosome orchestrated a gruesome attack that saw Ian left to die, an attack which Tina was subsequently implicated in.

Tina resolved to go on the run, but her brief stay at No.1 saw her work out that lawyer Gray killed his wife Chantelle (Jessica Plummer) – a discovery that resulted in her becoming Gray’s second victim.

The Carters remain unaware of the fact that Tina is dead, and next week, sick Gray claims he saw her on a bus.

Shirley is stunned, and after relaying Gray’s claims to Mick (Danny Dyer), they put their heads together in the hopes of successfully tracking Tina down.

Reflecting on the events which led to Tina’s disappearance, Shirley once again points the finger at Sharon and Phil, telling Mick that they’re going down unless they confess the truth about their plan with Ian!

And without hesitation, she confronts Phil upon his return to the Square, ordering him to hand himself into the police!

Sharon, meanwhile, sets her sights upon a dishevelled Shirley, who pleads with her to go to the authorities and reveal what she knows.

The question is: will Sharon do so?

Shirley is hellbent on getting Tina off the hook with the police, in the hopes that such a thing would result in her returning home. Thinking that Sharon and Phil are the obstacles in her way, she’s desperate to make them confess their crimes.

But will she succeed in convincing them to hand themselves in?
