Ruth Langsford forced to bring Loose Women to an abrupt end in schedule shake-up

Ruth Langsford had to abruptly cut Loose Women short today after the programme was given just 30 minutes of air time for their Tuesday panel discussion.

Rather than cut the show completely producers had decided to halve Coleen Nolan, Jane Moore, Frankie Bridge and Ruth's time on screens, in a bid to make way for the Ascot races that will broadcast on the channel.

The 61-year-old host seemed to forget that the show had been given a reduced slot as she quickly sliced through those that were speaking to bring the programme to a halt.

Eamonn Holmes' wife said: "I'm afraid that's all we have time for today, we only have 30 minutes due to the races taking place today," before the music swiftly chimed in at the very second she'd finished speaking.
