The majority of the main cast is back for the third series of Riviera.

Julia Stiles returns as Georgina Ryland and Poppy Delevingne as Daphne Eltham.

Stiles said: “The beginning of season three is really exciting, because it’s a new beginning for Georgina – at least she would like it to be.

“She’s shed the Clios family, she’s shed the estate, she’s changed her name back to her maiden name, Ryland.

“Time has passed and she’s now teaching art restitution and trying
to start a new life, free from all the trappings of her past.

“That gets subverted pretty quickly, but Georgina’s ready to keep fighting.”

Jack Fox is also back as Nico Eltham and Rupert Graves joins the cast of Riviera as Gabriel Hirsh.

Hirsh is described as a “charismatic” individual who accompanies Georgina on her adventures across Europe.

Riviera fans will most likely recognise Graves from his role as DI Lestrade in Sherlock.

Graves said: “Gabriel Hirsch is a man who works in art restitution.
“He has a strong moral compass and works to restore artwork which has been taken from victims of the Holocaust and sold and resold many times.

“In Riviera, it’s a job which requires a little bit of detective work, a lot of legal work and a tiny bit of James Bond-style chasing the artworks down that people have knowingly stolen. He’s interesting because he’s unpredictable.”

Also joining the cast of Riviera season three is Rupert Graves, Clare Hope Ashitey and Synnøve Macody Lund.

Riviera season three will follow Georgina as she tries to start a new life away from her past.

The official synopsis from Sky reads: “A year has passed since the explosive finale of Riviera II.

“Georgina has abandoned the cursed Riviera, leaving all its devastation and damage behind, and has started her life over again, a phoenix from the flames.

“Now a rising star in international art restitution, having reinvented herself as Georgina Ryland, she has partnered up with the insouciant, charismatic and worldly Gabriel Hirsch.

“Georgina and Gabriel share a passion for justice, a keen sense of adventure, and an intoxicatingly notorious reputation, and together they scour the world for stolen works of art.”
