”Tough as Nails“ premiered its third season on Wednesday

Somebody tape off this crime scene: Wednesday’s debut of CBS’ “CSI: Vegas” got pretty roughed up by NBC’s “Chicago P.D.”

With its strong “One Chicago” lineup, NBC finished in first place on Wednesday, when CBS ended up in a ratings tie (among adults 18-49) with Fox. That, despite the “CSI” franchise return and the Season 3 premiere of “Tough as Nails.”

Also of note last night, The CW wrapped up Season 4 of “Riverdale” and Season 3 of “In the Dark.”

NBC was first in ratings with a 0.8 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 6.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Chicago Med” at 8 p.m. drew a 0.8 rating and 6.7 million total viewers. At 9, “Chicago Fire” posted a 0.8 rating and 7 million total viewers. “Chicago P.D.” at 10 put up a 0.7 and 5.6 million total viewers.

CBS and Fox tied for second in ratings, both with a 0.6. CBS was second in total viewers with 4.2 million, Fox was third with 3.2 million.

For CBS, “Survivor” at 8 landed a 0.9 rating and 5.6 million total viewers. At 9, the “Tough as Nails” Season 3 premiere had a 0.5 rating and 3.1 million total viewers. At 10, “CSI: Vegas” debuted to a 0.4 rating and 4 million total viewers.

For Fox, “The Masked Singer” at 8 earned a 0.8 rating and 4.1 million total viewers. At 9, “Alter Ego” had a 0.4 rating and 2.4 million total viewers.

ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.4 and in total viewers with 2.3 million. “The Goldbergs” at 8 got a 0.6 rating and 3.1 million total viewers. At 8:30, “The Wonder Years” received a 0.4 rating and 2.4 million viewers. “The Conners” at 9 picked things back up a bit with a 0.5 rating and 3.1 million total viewers. At 9:30, “Home Economics” managed a 0.3 rating and 1.9 million total viewers. “A Million Little Things” finished in last place at 10, averaging a 0.2 rating and 1.7 million total viewers.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.1 and in total viewers with 370,000. The “Riverdale” Season 5 finale at 8 had a 0.1 rating and 402,000 total viewers. At 9, the Season 3 finale of “In the Dark” got a 0.1 rating and 339,000 total viewers.
