Peaky Blinders’ final season will air on BBC One and iPlayer and plenty of updates have come to light already. The final instalment has introduced some new cast members, including Conrad Khan as an undisclosed character. He opened up about when the season six premiere could be.

Will Peaky Blinders season 6 air in February 2022?

Newcomer Conrad Khan, who has previously starred in The Black Mirror and Baptiste, has given some insight into what fans can expect.

He said the drama could arrive as early as February, meaning the wait is almost over.

The BBC is yet to confirm this information, but it sounds like a promising update.

He told Radio Times that the drama “‘comes out, from what I last heard – I mean, these things change so quickly – I think that will come out next February”.

The star added: “There was so much footage, so many episodes, that it does take a while to edit – six months or something.”

Tommy Shelby actor Cillian Murphy teased an “intense, gothic” tone to the final season.

A teaser video was released at the start of January 2022 and it showed Tommy firing a machine gun.

This comes after the tragic scene at the end of season five, which saw Tommy pointing a gun at his own head.

The trailer does not include much dialogue, and instead shows scenes of imminent war.

Towards the end, a voice is heard saying: “You have a very powerful enemy. This will be the end of it.”

The words ‘The final series’ appear on the screen before another voice says: “Take a good look, Tom.

“Because one of us isn’t going to be here for long.”

With this in mind, there is a chance Shelby could meet his demise before the series concludes.

He says: “One last deed to be done and then the Peaky Blinders rest.”

Fans have taken to the trailer comments to share their thoughts on the final instalment.

Alyssa Samonte shared: “Before you release season 6, we just want to say thank you for this beautiful and one-of-a-kind show!

“Just watching the trailer gave me goosebumps and tears at the same time, this will definitely be the final season.
