As the Saddleridge Fire burns through Porter Ranch, Sylmar and beyond, cast and crew of the shows, including ‘Bless This Mess’ and ‘Party of Five’ reboot, are told to stay at home.
AceShowbiz -TV hits “NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service“, “S.W.A.T.“, comedy “Bless This Mess” and the “Party Of Five” reboot have all been shut down by the latest California wildfires.
Cast and crew of the shows were told to stay at home on Friday, October 11, as the Saddleridge Fire burned through Porter Ranch, Sylmar and beyond, claiming homes and forcing 23,000 mandatory evacuations.
The fire started on Thursday night and had ripped through 7,500 acres by the middle of Friday afternoon, at which point the blaze was only 13 per cent contained by firefighters.
The production of several other TV series and films has also been affected throughout the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys, thanks to smoke and poor air quality.
Sable Ranch in Santa Clarita, where Dax Shepard‘s “Bless This Mess” is filmed, is under an evacuation order. The site, which has been used for countless films and TV series, was damaged during the Sand Fire three years ago.
The latest wildfire turned deadly overnight on Thursday after one man in his late 50s suffered a cardiac arrest and died as he attempted to defend his home from the flames.
The latest disaster will bring back terrible memories for stars like Robin Thicke, Gerard Butler and then-couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, who all lost their homes in Malibu, California during the Woolsey Fire last November (2018).
