Manifest season four is now on the way to Netflix after the streaming platform agreed to revive the series. The drama originally aired on NBC and fans were shocked to learn it had been cut from the network’s slate after three seasons. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about season four and when it will air.

When is Manifest season 4 out?

Just after the release of the third season of Manifest, NBC made the decision to cancel the series at its halfway point.

The show’s creator, Jeff Rake, had intended for the series to comprise of six seasons, and he was devastated by the news.

Since the show’s cancellation, he has been fighting to find the series a new home, promising fans they will get the ending the characters deserve.

Deadline announced the final season will be made up of 20 episodes so the story can be wrapped up with a satisfying ending.

The series finale is expected to be split into multiple parts, but no release date has been given yet.

Hopefully, the first half will air sometime in 2022 but Express.co.uk will update this story when more information comes to light.

Who is in the cast of Manifest season 4?

Josh Dallas and Melissa Roxburgh are believed to have closed deals on the final season as Ben and Michaela Stone.

J R Ramirez is also expected to return as Jared Vasquez, as well as Parveen Kaur as Saanvi Bahl.

Some of the series regulars could also make a comeback, including Luna Blaise, Matt Long and Jack Messina.

There may be some difficulty regarding casting due to the unprecedented future of the series, but fans can hope to see many of their favourite characters again.

Creator Rake tweeted: “SAVED! Who did this? YOU did this. WHO did this? YOU DID THIS!”

This is in response to the successful #SaveManifest movement on social media as fans came out in their droves to support the revival.

Is there a trailer for Manifest season 4?

At this moment in time, there is no trailer for the upcoming season but Netflix did share a teaser video.

A video montage showing each character saying “828” was shared on Twitter, with the message: “Manifest. The fourth and final season. Coming to Netflix.”

Fans of the series will know 828 is the number given to the Montego Air Flight from Jamaica to New York City.

There was some bad turbulence during the flight and when the plane finally landed, the passengers learned they had in fact been missing for more than five years.

They are still yet to discover what happened to the plane and how they came to travel through time.

What will happen in Manifest season 4?

There are plenty of queries that have been raised by fans and hopefully, some insight will be provided.

There is still the huge question of who or what decided to bring flight 828 back, and why that particular flight was chosen.

Fans are also keen to know whether the passengers actually died and were “brought back”, or whether they came from a parallel universe.

Some strange things have happened to the characters, including Cal’s (Jack Messina) disappearance and his return as an older man.

Of course, viewers are also wondering whether Michaela and Jared would end up together before the series comes to an end.

As season four will be the show’s final instalment, it is hoped all of the remaining questions will be answered.

Fans should finally learn what really happened to the plane on that unusual night, and what caused its disappearance.

Each characters’ storyline will be wrapped up and viewers will learn, for example, why the passengers experience mysterious callings.

Netflix said on Twitter: “Couldn’t let a day as significant as today go uncelebrated.

“Manifest will officially return for a super-sized fourth and final season, only on Netflix!”

Manifest seasons 1-3 are on Netflix now.
