Lucifer fans were sent into a frenzy after rumours began to circulate that the star would appear in a the latest Arrowverse crossover titled Crisis on Infinite Earths. While Lucifer season five is currently filming in Vancouver, and so is the latest Arrowverse crossover. This sparked rumours that the Lucifer star had appeared on set of the new show. However, the star revealed this is not meant to be after all.
Fans were certain the actor was set to appear in the crossover after an Instagram user posted pictures of Tom Ellis signing photos in Vancouver.
He was spotted on set alongside David Ramsay who plays John Diggle in Arrow, Katherine McNamara who plays Arrow’s Mia Smoak and Matt Ryan who stars as John Constantine in Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.
The popular post claimed the star had been in town to film for the crossover show.
However, it was soon revealed that he was in town for a very different reason.

Speaking to Enterainment Tonight, Lucifer Morningstar actor Tom Ellis was quizzed on whether he would make a cameo on the show.
However, the star was quick to shut down the rumours.
He joked: “Right, okay see this is what happened.
“I go to Vancouver for the Weekend to visit my friend for his birthday, and now suddenly I’m in a different show.”
When questioned about the photos of him in the city looking as though he was in costume, he continued to shut down the rumours.
“No… hard pass, sorry” he added.
However, he did end by apologising to fans for any disappointment, simply adding: “Sorry fans”.
In other news, it was recently revealed Lucifer’s mother, the Goddess (Tricia Helfer) will be returning to the show for the final instalment.

Lucifer’s mother was last seen in season two, where she was sent into the void an hasn’t been seen since.
Recently TV Line posted an image of the character in a brand new look.
While the Goddess was used to appearing in pencil skirts and leather jackets, new image shows her with a brand new look.
She now appears in a classic-looking dress, with her hair in a ‘50s style.

When she was sent to the void, Lucifer told her to “make her own universe,” so she would be away from God’s influence.
Could this new outfit be part of her brand new reality?
Will the next outing see what kind of community has she created in her few years away from Lucifer?
Lucifer season 5 is coming to Netflix in 2020.
