Love Island viewers were left on the ultimate cliffhanger after last night’s shock recoupling.
Bombshell blonde Lucie Donlan had been coupled up with Joe Garratt and the pair were getting on very well, even sharing a cheeky smooch.
But the catering company owner was left devastated when Tommy Fury swept in and picked Lucie in the recoupling, meaning he now faces being dumped from the villa.
In tonight’s episode, Lucie realises she’s eager to develop her relationship with Joe further, but also feels she should give Tommy a chance.
The surfer babe chats to Amy about her dilemma, who offers her some words of advice.
She says: “I think you’re shutting yourself off too early. It’s day three.”
Meanwhile, Tommy continues to make a play for Lucie but understands her predicament.
Talking to her about the awkward situation, the hunk says: “I think you’re too nice of a person to upset anybody.
“You don’t want to upset me and don’t want to upset Joe.”
However, that doesn’t stop him pulling out the charm on the sexy blonde over a dinner date.
He gushes: “If two Beyonce’s and three Rihanna’s walked in tomorrow, my head wouldn’t be turned.”
At the end of the week, all the contestants will take part in a recoupling, with anyone not picked being dumped from the island.
And it seems as though Tommy is already making a back-up plan, as he flirts with Amber Gill too.
Speaking to her by the pool, he says: “I went on that date last night and it was a good date but I feel like I woke up this morning and you can’t put all your eggs in one basket.
“I know you’re a straight-up girl so what I want to know is… would you be open to getting to know me?”
Amber replies: “Yeah. I’m getting to know everyone. I’m not putting my eggs in one basket!”
Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
