Faye Winter told Teddy Soares that she wants to be "on my own" on Sunday's Love Island as they chatted on the roof terrace following their explosive row on Friday.

It comes as Faye's, 26, friends and family broke their silence on Sunday night after fans complained about her behaviour last week to Ofcom, telling viewers to remember that she is only "human" and may not "always get things right".

During the latest instalment of the show, Faye and Teddy had a sit down where they discussed their relationship and recent argument following the villa's Movie Night challenge last week where she said: "Right now, I just want to continue this journey on my own."

A string of revelations during movie night left Faye finally seeing the extent of 26 year old Teddy's flirting with Clarisse Juliette, 24, and she was utterly livid.

For the rest of the night, the blonde beauty was called "childish" by Teddy for giving him the middle finger and shouting at him, claiming he lied to her about his antics in Casa Amor, which left fans complaining about her behaviour to Ofcom.

During their chat, Faye said: "I don’t trust people until they prove to me I can trust them. I’ve said that from day one and so far there’s a lot of reasons not to trust you. But you’re telling me to still trust you."

To which Teddy replied: “So what am I supposed to do? Just let you go? In your eyes, I’ve made a mistake, I get it. But to just be like ‘I’m done’, is what I’m struggling with. I can’t swallow the pill, it doesn’t make sense to me.”

Faye added: “I’d rather be done, than hurt.” to which Teddy responded: “So you think I’m genuinely going to hurt you?”

She continued: “Teddy, you already have," to which Teddy asked: “What do you want?”

Faye then said: "Right now, I just want to continue this journey on my own," as she walked away while he responded: "On my own it is."

Talking to her fellow Islanders afterwards, Faye was asked if she was "100% done", to which she admitted: "Normal me outside, I would go back, yes, but I'm really trying to do this thing where I don't do that."

Prior to the show, Faye's friends and family released a statement on her official Instagram account after fans complained about her behaviour last week to Ofcom.

It read: "We understand that fans of Love Island have opinions on Friday night's episode while we don't want to comment on the events of the show. We ask everyone to remember…

"You are watching a highly edited TV show which is created for entertainment – you can never see the full picture. Faye is human, she may not always get things right. There are human beings managing the Islanders social media pages who will be seriously effected by your comments.

"We ask everyone please remembers this before commenting or messaging. We make no apology for turning off comments. Blocking and deleting to protect the mental well-being of ourselves and Faye when she comes out.

"We would encourage anyone struggling to do the same thing. We hope that we can all get back to enjoying the show together from now on, love team Faye x."
