Love Island viewers have been left concerned over Lucie Donlan and Joe Garratt’s pairing after he warned her not to stray.
Lucie was left in tears after Joe said he “couldn’t change her” after being left furious over her friendship with Tommy Fury.
Taking to Twitter, several viewers asked show producers to step in to make sure Lucie is okay.
Former islander Malin Andersson wrote: “Can the producers make sure Lucie is OK please?”

A second wrote: “Feel so bad for Lucie. She’s crying in almost every episode now!”
A third added: “Don’t see what’s wrong with a girl being friends with a boy? Such an overreaction from Joe.”

While another wrote: “This is actually becoming uncomfortable to watch now.”
It comes as the couple are at risk of being voted off the show after they were ruled to be the least compatible couple by their fellow islanders.
Joe and Lucie will face Anton and Elma in Tuesday’s episode, with the public vote revealing who will be ejected from the villa.
New couple Anton and Elma received five votes from their fellow islanders while Joe and Lucie were given three votes.
