Love Island fans think they may have spotted a ‘feud’ brewing between two couples in the villa ahead of the next recoupling.
Kai Fagan, 24, and Olivia Hawkins, 27, shared a secret kiss on the terrace on Friday night’s episode, with fans having mixed feelings about their growing romance.
However, viewers think there may be some drama between Kai and Olivia and another couple in the villa after Olivia made a sly dig following their kiss.
After locking lips on the balcony, Kai said to Olivia: “Maybe we shouldn’t tell anyone about this. Keep it a secret”.
Olivia then replied: “Like Ellie and Tom”.
Fans watching the show wondered about the significance of the comment, with one writing on Twitter: “Olivia still fuming over Tom and Ellie, then."
Another added: “All Olivia does is gossip. Gosh."
A third person said: “Olivia had a kiss with Kai but she was crying when Ellie kissed Tom on the terrace okay”.
The kiss comes as the budding romance heats up, after they spoke about the kissing challenge, with Olivia saying: "I was nervous to kiss you in the challenge."
Kai then replied: "Were you? I actually didn't want you to kiss me in the challenge," before Olivia asked: "Why?"
The star then admitted to her: "I'd prefer to save it for a proper kiss," to which Liv flirted further: "What, you want to kiss me out of a challenge."
"Yeah I want to kiss you out of a challenge," the PE teacher shared, which then saw the pair have a passionate kiss.
While Kai and Olivia's feelings for each other seem to be developing, former islander Danica Taylor said that she thinks Kai is "playing a game".
Danica told OK!: "Kai knows Olivia's an easy one to go for, and he probably remembers that she was attracted to him."
When asked where this could leave Olivia, Danica replied: "I think, because Olivia has gone through it, because she gets quite emotional quite quickly, she shows that she's quite emotionally involved with the [Love Island] experience.
"I feel like she could be slightly blindsided."
Friday night's episode saw Maya Jama, 28, make an epic return to the villa for the recoupling, where she revealed the girls will be forced to choose two boys – out of Kai, Aaron Waters and Spencer Wilks – to leave the villa for good.
Ron Hall, 25, Will Young, 23, Shaq Muhammed, 24, and Tom Clare, 23, were saved – but Maya announced that Kai, Spencer, 24, and Aaron, 24, will be up for elimination depending on the girls' choice, which will be revealed on Sunday.
