Love Island star Danny Bibby's father has spoken out over calls for his son to be removed from the villa over unearthed racial slurs.
The 25-year-old plumber made his explosive debut on the ITV dating show during at the end of Thursday's episode.
Since his appearance on the show, Danny has been caught up in a race row after being caught using the N-word on social media.
However, his dad Richard Bibby has since defended his son, claiming that he doesn't have a "racist bone in his body".
Richard said in a statement: "Danny does not have a racist bone in his body and there were no racist intentions to this post.

"Although it was not done maliciously, it was a mistake. I absolutely apologise on his behalf for the offence this wording may have caused. That would never have been his intention."
It didn't take long for eagle-eyed fans to flick through his Instagram account, where they came across the comment.
In a photo of Danny posing in a bold leaf-patterned shirt while on holiday, a friend commented: "Champ" and a fist-bump emoji.
Danny replied: "My n****"."

Spotting the use of the offensive slur, one Love Island fan added last night: "I would take this down".
The individual in charge of running Danny's social media account initially deleted the comment, before removing the whole post entirely.

One wrote: "He made this post not even 2 years ago. Everyone knows that is totally unacceptable to say."
