Kanye West 'to perform to semi-empty Miami stadium' for Donda 2 despite thousands of unsold $200 seats & vacant sections

KANYE West's Donda 2 concert may not be such a hot ticket.

Thousands of $200 tickets remained unsold at the "semi-empty" Miami stadium and entire sections appeared vacant with just hours to go.

Kanye, 44, is set to perform his Donda 2 Experience at 8 P.M. ET on February 22 at LoanDepot Park, home to the Miami Marlins.

He was earlier spotted arriving in Miami ahead of his listening party the night before, and with the stage being set, quite literally, things appeared all-systems go.

But on Ticketmaster, DONDA was looking disapointing the day of.

The stadium holds 36,742 people – though thousands of those are unusable because of the directionality of a concert – and around 3000 seats appeared to be available two hours ahead of showtime, with full sections empty and thousands more up for resale.

Donda 2 is the follow-up album to his 2021 project, Donda, named after his late mother, which the rapper first announced on Instagram earlier this month, captioning his post: "2-22-22."

Tickets became available starting at around $145 and soared to $950 – but ahead of showtime, some were available at prices as low as $45.

“I'm at the Kanye West #DONDA2 concert in Miami. Hopefully, Kanye performs and not go on a rant about Kim,” one fan wrote to Twitter.

"Kanye won’t come out until at least 10:30," wrote another.

MORE FAN FURY

Fans wouldn't be wrong to be dubious about the show, given Ye's track record, or lack of tracks and records, as of late.

Kanye's Donda 2 album was not released at midnight on Tuesday as promised, for one thing.

The album was set to drop overnight on February 22, 2022, as his Instagram noted and fans took to Twitter with their annoyance when it did not materialize at that time.

"Where’s #donda2 lol. That album is never coming out," one complained, with another ranting, "IS #DONDA2 HAPPENING???? that's all i want to know."

Kanye may still put on a memorable show, after all, he pleaded for ex Kim Kardashian to “run right back” to him at his concert with Drake in December.

Kim filed to become legally single days later.

DONDA DISASTER

Kanye West fans were also left furious after the rapper revealed Donda 2 will only be available not on streaming platforms but on the $200 Stem player.

Fans of the rapper didn’t hold back when complaining that the upcoming album won’t be available on other platforms after he took to Instagram on Thursday night to reveal that news.

Alongside a video of flashing purple and blue lights that featured Kanye rapping, he wrote: “Donda 2 will only be streaming on my own platform, the stem player.

“You can download new music from stemplayer.com. You can play 4 different elements of the track: vocals, drums, bass and music," advertising the apparent collaborative element.

Kanye reportedly turned down a $100M deal with Apple instead opting for the $200-per-person STEM player.

"After 10 albums after being under 10 contracts. I turned down a hundred million dollar Apple deal. No one can pay me to be disrespected," he wrote in an Instagram post.

MORE QUESTIONS

The album will reportedly include 22 songs and was supposed to arrive on the day of Rob Kardashian Sr.'s birthday, though it isn't here yet.

Kim, who filed for divorce from West in February 2021 after seven years of marriage, also unfollowed Ye on Instagram after the rapper slammed her boyfriend Pete Davidson yet again on the social media platform.

Earlier this year, Kanye released two additional tracks including City of Gods and Eazy, both of which took shots at Kim's new boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

Aside from songs that may hit the stage, some fans theorized Drake may join Ye as they sleuthed the Canadian rapper's travel out on Reddit, writing: "DRAKE WILL BE THERE TOO."

Kanye and Drake ended their infamous feud back in November after years of warring.

Ultimately as with everything Ye – from the advertised 8 P.M. ET start time to guests to what will be said on stage – only time will tell.
