I'm A Celebrity's SECOND location revealed as Welsh petting farm Manorafon Park where they’ll hold gruelling challenges

I'M A CELEBRITY's second filming location has been revealed as Welsh petting farm Manorafon Park.

The new celeb line up will be put through their paces and set gruelling challenges in the fields and paddocks of the petting farm – that is usually home to sheep, alpacas, goats, pigs and meerkats.

Producers have booked exclusive use of the site, located along the scenic North Wales coastline and within the parkland of the main I'm A Celeb camp at Gwrych Castle.

The attraction – which usually hosts visitors paying £5.50-a-head – is just a short distance from the castle and also has go karting, soft play facilities and a playground.

However, it has not yet been unveiled what exactly this year's celebrity participants will be expected to do at the farm, or what challenges will take place there.

It comes as a welcome reprieve for farm bosses who suffered losses as a result of the pandemic.

A spokesperson for Manorafon Farm Park said: "As many of you will be aware, the losses we sustained at the beginning of our season because of the coronavirus pandemic have hit us hard.

"As we reach the end of our main season, we have had to consider making some very difficult decisions.

"We were recently approached with the opportunity to provide ITV with exclusive use of our site until the end of 2020 as they film I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here on the neighbouring Gwrych Castle Estate.

"This unique opportunity provides us with the ability to invest in the farm and continue with our exciting plans for 2021 and beyond. As such, we will be closed for the remainder of the 2020 season."

Meanwhile, the celebs have more than farm animals to worry about as spooky Gwrych Castle is notoriously haunted.

Its website says that "Real life ghost encounters by visitors to Gwrych Castle are commonplace".

One castle worker said: “A few people have claimed to have seen a floating woman in white.

“Ghost-hunters have also claimed to have felt the presence of her and gamekeepers. We think the Countess might be unhappy as her husband stripped the castle of valuables. They certainly didn’t have a happy marriage.”

Celebs daring to enter the castle are rumoured to be Vernon Kay, Eric Cantona, Beverley Callard, John Bercow and Baga Chipz.
