The Great British Bake Off will soon be looking for the next star bakers to knead and crimp in the famous tent, which is this year located in Bishop's Stortford in Essex.

All budding bakers will be encouraged to apply to be in the popular show's next series in 2022.

Love Productions, – the company behind producing the hit show – have said they are closely monitoring the situation regarding Covid-19.

They have warned social distancing could affect how auditions for the show are carried out.

They will also inform successful applicants if they will be required to take time off from work and be away from home to be part of a 'Bake Off bubble'.

All contestants for the 2021 series have been required to be part of this bubble for 12 weeks in order for the show to have been filmed safely.

If you think you've got what it take to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, you can now apply to appear in next year's show via the 'take part' website.

If you can't apply online easily, you can request an application form to be posted to you.
