Hollyoaks fans were left devastated as Sid Sumner (Billy Price) was stabbed by evil drugs boss Victor Brothers (Benjamin O'Mahony) during Tuesday's dramatic episode.
Sid has been working on a plan to take down Victor for weeks in a bid to free his pal Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) from jail.
He teamed up with Juliet's brother James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) to take Victor down and his county lines drugs operation once and for all.
However, Ollie Morgan (Gabriel Clark) caught Sid red-handed, but promised to keep quiet if he were to get him some ketamine.
Sid managed to get what a confession from Victor but he was later confronted by drug addict Ollie once more.
When Sid refused to give him the drugs he promised, Ollie headed straight to Victor and told him exactly about Sid's plan.
The drugs lord was hellbent on tracking down Sid before it was too late, and the villain managed to catch up with the young lad in the form of a tragic showdown.
Viewers were left heartbroken this evening as Victor got out a knife from his pocket and stabbed Sid in a bid to stop him from going the police with his recording.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "OMG Sid."
A second person posted: "Not Sid?"
A third fan wrote: "Victor stabbed Sid nooooo."
While a fourth said: "@Hollyoaks no this is breaking my heart."
"Sid is not dead and I’m refusing to except any other outcome apart that," a fifth social media user typed.
Another added: "Omg Sid…I’m sorry I can’t watch Hollyoaks anymore."
The latest episode of the Channel 4 soap got off to an exited start for Sid as he downloaded all his evidence to expose Victor.
However, an Victor busted into the Lomaxes home in a bid to fid the young boy before he handed over the USB stick to the police.
Ste put on Sid's red hoody in a bid to buy some more time but it wasn't enough to save Sid from the hands of Victor.
Sid was stopped on his tracks to the police station by Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) and that gave Victor enough time to catch Sid.
Victor brutally stabbed Sid and left him for dead on the ground.

Ste later found Sid's lifeless body on the floor covered in blood.
Sid told Ste: "Tell Juliet I tried to save her".
Fans will have to wait and see if Sid survives Victor's attack.
