Holly Willoughbyand Phillip Schofield have presented a special tribute edition of This Morning today (September) to honour the Queen who died last week aged 96.
During the heartfelt episode, Holly, 41, revealed the cards her three children left outside the palace gates this weekend in a "beautiful" tribute, and read some of their words out in an emotional segment which echoed the mood of the nation.
Harry, aged 13, is Holly's eldest child and he wrote: "Dear the queen, what a journey is has been from a regular young queen who only met 1 prime minister, to a national treasure who has met 15 prime ministers and is the greatest queen England has ever seen."
The touching missive ends: "Britain is so amazingly proud of your service for this country. And finally I want to say thank you for football, without you I wouldn't be playing for the team I am today. Long live the king."
Belle, aged 11, said: "I hope you're having an outstanding time in heaven with Phillip," as well as sweetly adding some details about herself.
And Chester, aged 7, wrote: To your majesty, thank you for being our queen."
The This Morning presenter took to Instagram at the weekend to post a rare snap of her children outside Buckingham Palace.
In the picture, it sees the trio standing over the thousands of tributes while another snap sees Belle placing her card for the late Queen, who died aged 96 on the 8 of September.
