A Friends buff was staggered when she re-watched an episode and spotted an "imposter" being used instead of Monica actress Courteney Cox.
In the clip, user @mumandmore4 points out a howler in Season 8 Episode Six of Friends: "The One with Rachel’s Date".
The scene is in the cafe and Monica is grilling Phoebe (played by Lisa Kudrow) about her romance with her sous chef Tim who she wants to fire from her restaurant.
But as the camera pans to Phoebe, the actress playing Monica clearly changes and has a totally different jawline.
"That's not Monica!" says the shocked Tiktok user, pausing on the frame.
In the caption, she says: "I know there are so many mistakes in Friends but I have never seen this one before."
The clip was "liked" more than 10,000 times on the video-sharing app and some people shared they were getting annoyed with mistakes, while others offered an explanation.
One person commented: "It’s only because the show was originally filmed for box TVs 20 years ago.
"They made them HD/widescreen so now these errors show up."
Another fan wrote: "Sometimes they are just filming one actor’s lines. It’s too expensive to have the other actor there so they hire a stand-in. It's cheaper."

But a supporter piped up: "I love the show I don’t care about imperfections. It doesn’t change that fact."
