Fate: The Winx Saga teaser released by Netflix
Fate: The Winx Saga has taken Netflix by storm over the last few weeks and is quickly on its way to becoming one of the most popular shows of 2021. But with the first season only having six episodes, some fans have gone back to the original Winx Club cartoon the Netflix show was based on to get more fairy stories, but they ended up finding some important clues.
A clue in one of the storylines of Winx Club could reveal a way that Headmistress Farah Dowling (played by Eve Best) could come back next season.
At the end of season one, viewers left Bloom (played by Abigail Cowen), Stella (Hannah Van der Westhuysen), Musa (Elisha Applebaum) Terra (Eliot Salt ) and Aisha (Precious Mustapha) as they return to Alfea College to find Rosalind (Lesley Thorp) has taken over as headmistress.
The fairies still don’t know that Farah is dead and, with Stella’s mother Queen Luna (Kate Fleetwood) showing support to Rosalind, it’s likely they will need to power up their magic to be able to defeat them.
However, fans online are convinced this isn’t the end for Farah.

One theory would have Farah, being a mind fairy, see into Rosalind’s mind moments before her neck got snapped.
Viewers who support this theory believe that Farah saw Rosalind’s intentions and used her magic to protect herself and fake her death, potentially by projecting an illusion of her body being lifted in the air and her neck snapping.
What is certain is that viewers did see Farah’s eyes light up in those moments, confirming she used magic, whether it was in an unsuccessful attempt to save herself or in a successful trick.
Others though believe that it will be the girls who will find a way to save the headmistress.
On Reddit, user Blackrosess explained: “At the end there Farah turned into flowers, maybe it could be like in the cartoon when Faragonda turned into a tree and the Winx girls saved her.
“I believe we’re not done with Farah yet,” they added.
In the comments section, this viewer refers to Faragonda, the Headmistress of Alfea in the Winx Club cartoon.
Like with many other characters in the Netflix show, Farah isn’t entirely the same as her predecessor but only loosely based on her.

During season three of Winx Club, Faragonda is turned into a tree by Valtor, one of the show’s main antagonists.
The Winx then embark on a journey to find a natural cure for her and turn her back into a fairy.
If Faragonda’s character is anything to go by though, the theory of Farah creating an illusion to mask her death is also likely, since her predecessor was known for her powerful illusions.
Other fans, however, have even different theories about Farah’s future.
Again on Reddit, user MaddieClarisse explained how they believe that Farah and Bloom could be mother and daughter.
“When they went to hug Farah showed a great deal of emotion which tells me personally she either hasn’t had a hug in a while or she feels something towards Bloom,” they wrote.
“My theory is that Farah is Bloom’s mother but Rosalind who I’m pretty sure is a mind fairy used her power to take the memories of Bloom away from Farah.
“Also Farah will hopefully either be revived by Bloom because when her powers were less advance she healed a cut so I’m thinking as she grows to connect with her powers me she will revive Farah.”
Fans will have to wait until Fate: The Winx Saga season two, should the series be renewed, to find out for sure.
