Emmerdale fans in disbelief as pensioners set up weed smoking gang with Doug

Emmerdale fans were in disbelief tonight as the village's pensioners set up weed smoking gang.

Doug Potts has been sneaking off for crafty cannabis joint over the last few weeks to get rid of his back pain.

This has caused a drug epidemic in the village and the residents have been trying to identify the culprit.

After some close shaves, Doug headed off for a quick doobie at the allotments but was rumbled by the worst person possible – Eric Pollard.

However, rather than grass him up to the police, Eric decided to turn the situation to his advantage and get in on the action.

Eric asked if the cannabis would help his bad hip then said they could come to some sort of arrangement.

Rattled Doug was fuming when Rodney came round and claimed he wanted a spliff to sort out his bad hip.

Rodders said: "I was just looking to get a plot on the allotment so I can grow some…herbs.. and Eric here suggested you might be the…[taps nose]…expert I need to talk to."

Doug argued that it would damage his reputation, but Eric claimed he was the "human form of a traffic cone".

Hot Rod claimed he was in absolute agony, but suspicious Doug accused him of lying and said he only wanted to get high.

Rodney suggested they should be "partners in crime", while Eric joked: "Three's a cloud."

Eventually giving in, Doug produced a pre-rolled joint for the fellas to enjoy.

He cheekily said: "If you put it like that. here's one I prepared earlier."

Will the old boys get caught out?

Emmerdale viewers were left in hysterics and can't wait to see how the storyline unfolds.

One fan said: "Eric Rodney and Doug all doing drugs together ahahahaha what a TRIO"

"Doug, Eric + Rodney = Drug Kings," added another.

A third joked: "Doug, Eric, and Rodney getting high… With Rodney would we really be able to tell the difference?"

"Eric, Doug and Rodney creating a stoner's club….," said a fourth.
