Coronation Street fans have gone wild after spotting former Emmerdale star Mark Cameron on the famous cobbles.
Mark, who previously played the Dales’ Sean Rossi for a year from 1996 to 1997, made his on-screen debut tonight (Wednesday 1 December), as he stepped into the shoes of Curtis Delamere’s (Sam Retford) supposed “dead” dad Neville.
And his appearance didn’t go unnoticed with eagle-eyed fans, who quickly took to social media to point out the familiar face gracing their screens.
One person questioned: "Feel like I recognise Curtis’s dad but not sure where from?! #Corrie."
To which a different viewer replied with: "He’s been in Corrie before and Emmerdale."
While another account put: "I recognise Curtis' dad. Is he from somewhere else? #Corrie #CoronationStreet."
However, Neville’s arrival on the Street wasn’t just a surprise for viewers tuning in from their sofas at home.
The new character also made a big impression on Curtis’ fiancée Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell), as Curtis had previously told her that his dad had passed away.
After Emma accompanied Curtis to his hospital appointment, the pair arrived back in Weatherfield – only for Neville to be waiting for them.

When Neville broke the news to Emma that he was Curtis’ dad, she was gobsmacked.
However, Curtis managed to quickly cover up his lie as he told her Neville was actually his step-dad.
Neville picked up on what was going on and went along with what Curtis was saying, but viewers will have to wait and see how the rest of the storyline pans out over the coming weeks.
And at the end of the episode, Neville encouraged his son to "tell the truth" after a doctor earlier told Curtis that there is "nothing wrong" with his heart, despite claiming to have a "life-threatening" condition.
Of course, Mark isn’t just a familiar face from Emmerdale, having previously had numerous other soaps on his impressive C.V.
As well as starring in EastEnders, Mark landed the role of Albert Square’s Hugh Thompson in EastEnders, a character he played from 2014 to 2016.
And he’s even walked the cobbles before, having starred as D.I. Parks, Stuart Pollock and Lenny Schnitzer in the ITV soap.
