CORRIE's Summer Spellman is set for a rough start to the new year.
Struggling with disordered eating, the youngster portrayed by Harriet Bibby is also in for a shock from Max (Paddy Bever).
Max has not had the easiest time in the cobbles over the past few weeks.
While he's taken a liking to Summer, the teenager has also caused trouble in Weatherfield High and wreaked havoc after running a smear campaign against Daniel Osbourne.
Max accused the teacher of behaving inappropriately with Summer, whom he has been tutoring.
But his rebellious streak is set to take a disturbing turn as he will be targeting Summer in a brand new Coronation Street episode, awaited on the screens in January, 2022.
In recent weeks, Summer has been spiralling as her eating disorder continues to haunt her.

Both girls are shocked and disgusted when it becomes clear Max is looking at an upskirting photo on his phone.
The shock then makes way for horror as Summer discovers Max is staring down at a picture of her.
While Amy and Asha (Tanisha Gorey) urge her to report the photo to the police, Summer refuses out of embarrassment.
