CAROL Vorderman looked very chic in a fitted jumpsuit and shades as she sipped champagne by a river yesterday.
The former Countdown star was toasting the completion of a new podcast pilot she's recorded.
The 61-year-old star showed off her newly-dyed blonde hair in the snap at Hampton Court Palace, which came after she'd given fans a peek inside her recording space.
Carol sat behind a desk and in front of shelves lined with all manner of books including the works of Shakespeare.
She wrote on Instagram: "Lovely afternoon making a great pilot (well I think so anyway) for a podcast…..I think coming soon….it's a cracker of a series….you'll love it 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🥰🥰😀😀.
"Hot though in Hampton Court so we went for a little boating past the Palace…..Happy days."

Carol debuted her new hair earlier this week while on a paddleboarding trip.
She went makeup-free for a fresh-faced snap and joked her hair colour was all natural.
She captioned the photo: "Sun so hot it turned my hair blonde today 😂…didn't it @kalas_hair_boutique???
But Carol later revealed her annoyance when she discovered another fake Instagram account claiming to be her had been set up.

Sporty Carol recently joked about challenging Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid to a mud wrestle.
She said the match would be over Robert Rinder, who she described as "the love of my life".
Carol explained that she had been recording content for the Pride of Britain podcast, which he hosts.
