BRINGING Up Bates' Zachary and Whitney Bates revealed that their newborn son Jadon is on a ventilator after his "right lung collapsed."
Zach, 32, and Whitney, 27, described how their infant had a "rough night" in an Instagram post.
The couple wrote: "His oxygen levels continued dropping, and his right lung collapsed. They intubated and put him on a ventilator.
"He has a little chest tube on the side of his chest for the collapse."
The two continued with the update on Jadon's condition and added: "Today, Jadon has been steadily improving throughout the day, and he looks so much more peaceful."
As the two watched their newborn "struggle to breathe," Zach and Whitney realized how "the turnaround this morning was a miracle."
The reality star couple thanked "the kindest doctors and nurses" at the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital for "all of the work they have poured into our baby boy."
Zach and Whitney concluded: "As you continue praying for Jadon, we do ask that you also remember all of the other families here at Children’s Hospital that are facing tragedies and difficult times in their lives as well.
"We love you all and grateful for each one of you."
Zach and Whitney share their son, Bradley, six, daughter, Kaci, four, and another daughter, Khloé, one.
Last year, Tori Bates, 25, and her husband Bobby Smith had a "safe delivery" as they welcomed their baby son named Kolter Gray.
Tori and Bobbi share their two-year-old son Robert Ellis IV aka Kade.
"It amazes us how such a tiny life can create such an enormous new love in our hearts. Kade is sooo ready to take care of his little brother – all he keeps saying is “baby” and “yay!” blowing him all the kisses he can through FaceTime.
"We cannot even imagine how much our hearts will swell when our little family is all back together again at home! (P.S. We decided to spell Gray with an “a” instead of an “e” when we were filling out the birth certificate)."
The Bringing Up Bates stars shared a snapshot of themselves holding Kolter as they sat on the hospital bed.
Tori and Bobby tied the knot in a ceremony in Knoxville, Tennessee back in 2016 and welcomed their first son about two years later.
Bringing Up Bates followed Kelly Bates, 54, and Gil Bates, 54, as they welcomed 19 children over 24 years, while 14 of those births took place at their home with no pain relief.
The Bates Family consisted of 10 girls and nine boys in Lake City, Tennessee had their own reality TV show, which first aired back in 2015.
