THE Chase's Bradley Walsh lost his cool at an eager contestant and snapped at her on air.
Bradley was putting questions to contestant Jackie who was a bit trigger happy in her cash builder round.
One question he asked was: “What name did Time magazine give to Frank Sinatra’s show business entourage?”
The choices were Brat Pack, Rat Pack and Flat Pack, but as Bradley was reeling off the answer options when he lost his cool with Jackie.
Bradley noticed Jackie had already pressed her buzzer before he had finished reading out the answer options.
“I know you’re keen Jackie, but you have to wait until I have given you all the alternative answers, darling,” Bradley scolded.
“You can’t press that button so quickly. You’ve got to stop it. Calm down, Jackie.”
"Sorry,” Jackie simply replied, as chuckles could be heard in the studio.
Her episode ended with none of the contestants being able to make it to the final round.
So they decided to put Andy up for going against Chaser, Mark 'The Beast' Labbett.
If he could beat Mark, all four players would go home with £1,000 each, but The Beast proved too good in the end and they walked away empty handed.
Despite losing his patience on The Chase, Bradley has plenty to celebrate as he signs up for Christmas special of Darling Buds Of May reboot The Larkins.
He will play Pop Larkin in the feature length special, which will be set in the Larkin household during the festive period.
A TV insider said: “This is one of the year’s most anticipated dramas and a sign of how good they think the finished product is.
“Selecting a show to help boost ratings at the most critical time of the year isn’t a decision ITV would take lightly as it represents a huge investment.
“It’s also something of a risk as they don’t know what the audience reaction is to the reboot yet.”
The Darling Buds Of May was a huge hit when it was screened between 1991 and 1993.
