Big Mouth is an adult animated coming-of-age sitcom created by comedians Andrew Goldberg, Nick Kroll, Jennifer Flackett and Mark Levin. The Netflix comedy explores what it’s like being a teenager, learning about hormones and the human body with the help of Hormone Monsters. Subscribers are already getting excited about the show again as it returns for its fifth season.

Big Mouth will be back for season five on Friday, November 5, on Netflix.
As with the previous series, season five is going to be made up of 10 episodes.
In terms of what subscribers can expect from the latest outing of Big Mouth, it will very much continue the theme of particular emotions.
Series two dealt with shame, whereas season four focused on anxiety.

Going by the trailer, this time around, Big Mouth will be all about Love and Hate.
The kids will be introduced to the representatives of these concepts who appear in the shape of love bugs and hate worms, creatures that transform into one another whenever it is experienced.
Nick will get his first love bug when he starts getting feelings for Jessi but it will soon turn into a hate worm when he finds himself rejected.
Meanwhile, Jessi is herself confused as she considers whether or not she is more than friends with Ali.
Will there be another series of Big Mouth?
There will be no need to worry about the future of Big Mouth on Netflix just yet.
Back in December 2019, it was revealed Netflix had given the animated comedy a three-season renewal.
This included series four, five and six so Big Mouth will not be coming to an end any time soon.
Netflix made this deal with Brutus Pink, the animated production company made up of the creators behind Big Mouth.

The comedians have been working hard on series six which is expected to come out sometime in late 2022.
There is also potential for Big Mouth to go further than the sixth season under the new contract but series seven hasn’t been confirmed.
Even more excitingly, because of this deal, the team can work on other animated comedy shows that are “adult, funny and emotional.”
One of which is Human Resources, a spin-off to Big Mouth, focusing on the world of the monsters from the original comedy.
A release date has not yet been announced for Human Resources.
