Strictly’s Molly and Carlos look cosy in sweet snap together during rehearsals

Strictly's Molly Rainford touched down in Blackpool with pro dancer Carlos Gu and posted a cosy snap outside the Blackpool Ballroom Tower.

Snuggled together, the pair were wrapped up as they took the picture outside the ballroom, bracing the chilly northern weather.

Molly captioned the snap: "Me and the Gu touched down in Blackpool".

Fans took to the comments to share how excited they were for the dancing couple to have made it through to the Blackpool round of the show.

One wrote: "Yes!! Have fun making memories guys. Blackpool is a vibe. Big love".

Another couldn't wait til their performance on Saturday, writing: "Eeek so exciting!!! can’t wait to see you dance in the tower ballroom".

Molly and Carlos will dance the Jive to Bandstand Boogie by Barry Manilow having made it through last week's round with their Rumba to Whitney Houston's All The Man That I Need.

Strictly returns to Blackpool for the first time in two years following a Covid-induced break from the venue.

Thanking her fans for their support, Molly posted a video of the dance that got her a spot in this week's show.

She wrote: "Can’t believe we’re through to Blackpool. What a dream come true! I can’t wait to dance in that ballroom with you @gkx_carlos".

"Thank you everyone for supporting us, it honestly means the world, we’re so grateful for each and every vote. See you in week 9 @bbcstrictly", Molly concluded.

Fans congratulated Molly on her Strictly success, sharing messages of good luck to the CBBC actress in the comments.

One commented: "It was a stunning, amazing dance!! I voted for you and will always vote for you, I think you are great!!"

"Well Done Molly & @gkx_carlos so so proud you both absolutely killed it this week! Keep up the good work! We love you", another wrote.
