Stacey Solomon horrified as Joe Swash surprises her with ‘new home’ campervan

Stacey Solomon, 30, was left lost for words as her boyfriend Joe Swash, 38, surprised her with a campervan, which he dubbed their "new home".

The Loose Women star took to her Instagram story to share her horror, as she filmed herself looking out of her bedroom window to the street below.

There she saw a sparkling new white campervan parked by the road – though she explained she'd already seen it.

She wrote over the top: "Is he actually joking…

"I was so tired last night I walked past that monstrosity thinking someone had parked up and gone to the pub or something only to find out it's our apparently."

The former X Factor runner up could be heard saying to her man: "Oh my God, what the hell, Joe?"

Looking pretty pleased with himself, former EastEnders star Joe said: "It's our new home on wheels, babe, our new home."

Despite her initial shock, it seems Stacey quickly got over the "monstrosity" as she shared her excitement about the new possibilities.

The mum-of-three shared a snap of Joe and her boys in the back of the van, all grinning from ear to ear.

She captioned it: "I knew once he'd got this idea in his head it was inevitable…. I didn't realise how soon though.

"Usually it takes him a week just to text me back so I thought it'd have been years before he made this happen.

"I am excited for him and the boys and our adventures. I love them so much and making memories with them is my favourite thing in the world.

"So here we go.

"First memory they'll have is the school run."

Stacey added: "Bye bye normal car, hello camper."

Joe revealed he'd travelled "all the way to Whitley Bay" to pick up the vehicle, which includes an oven and a fridge inside.

He gave his own followers a tour of the interior, with a swish mini kitchen visible and a plush leather back seat.

The van had been custom-built to Joe's specifications, the dealership Southlands revealed.

Posting a photo of Joe with it, they wrote: "We hope you all enjoy your stunning new custom-built campervan, and make sure you tag us along in all your amazing trips you have planned!"
