Rylan Clark admitted he once received a terrifying death threat from a follower while staying alone at a luxury hotel.
The 34-year-old TV personality made the emotional admission during a nail-biting teaser for his upcoming appearance on the High Performance podcast.
He first shot to fame back in 2010 after he appeared on the ITV talent show X Factor, and his showbiz career has only continued to catapult since then.

But over the course of his 13-year television career, the TV personality has faced a wave of backlash and criticism from viewers online.
In a preview clip of the eye-opening podcast, Rylan revealed that aside from receiving cruel messages from trolls online, he has also faced terrifying death threats while working up and down the country.
Speaking to sports presenter Jake Humphrey and psychologist Damian Hughes, the TV star confessed he has managed to ignore most of the cruel messages online.
He admitted: “I don’t if someone calls me talentless. I don’t care if someone says ‘big tooth p***k’. I don’t care. It’s like, I've got money in the bank, I'm fine, babe.”
One of the most terrifying messages he received from a troll was when a follower found out what hotel room he was staying at and threatened to kill him.
Rylan continued: “But when someone’s saying, ‘I can see currently on your balcony of your room, 401, and I’ve got a key card because I work here and I'm gonna slice your neck in your sleep’.
“Then you sit there and go, ‘F**k, that’s a bit too much information that they know’.”
His jaw-dropping confession comes after he opened up about what life has been life for him as a single man more than a year and a half on from his split from ex-husband Dan Neal.
Speaking to The Sun, the star joked: [Single life is] cold. I mean, no, it’s fine.
“It’s nice to be selfish for a change and do what I want, when I want, not have to tell anyone else what I'm doing or what I'm not doing.”

The TV star went on: “So yeah, single life’s fun. This time of year is always a bit strange because you just want to sit indoors and have a cuddle, but I've got a pheasant running about the garden, so I'm fine.”
He added: “I wouldn’t say I'm looking for a boyfriend but if I met someone I liked, I wouldn’t be saying no.”
