News of Ricky Gervais ' new tour comes after the comic revealed sitting, boozing and “talking b*****ks” is his favourite activity in life.
The After Life creator said his new tour will consist of him in conversation with two comedian friends on stage in front of socially distanced audiences, and taking questions from fans.
He is already shopping online for three matching chairs for the gigs and is aiming to take it around the UK and the world if the pandemic ends.
Ricky, 59, announced in an online chat with fans: “I was looking at chairs for Talking B*****ks Live.
“I’m very excited – I’ll get all my chums in, just me and two other people.
“I think the first one will be Diane Morgan and Sean McLoughlin. I’ll get Joe Wilkinson in and Kerry Godliman, you know – the usual suspects.
“Then I can probably take it and do it in other parts of the world and have local comedians, or big comedians, depending on what country I’m in.
“I’ll keep you posted and it’ll give you something to look forward to.
“It’s someone to look forward to before we die.”
Ricky landed on the show title Talking B*****ks after initially rejecting it as he thought it would be too embarrassing for fans to say.
The comic – who has been self-isolating with long-term writer partner Jane Fallon at their £10.8million north London mansion – came up with the concept last week when he decided he wanted to turn the online question and answer sessions he regularly does with his social media followers into a live gig.
Ricky added he will announce when tickets are on sale a week before each show as lockdown rules are constantly changing.
He also said he wants his followers to send him questions he could ask to his different sets of guests at each Talking B*****ks show.
And he appealed for fans to send him hypothetical scenarios to pose at gigs, such as “would you rather have nipples for fingers or fingers for nipples”.
In an earlier online chat, Ricky had admitted his definition of happiness was “sitting here, drinking and talking b*****ks”.
