The emotive performance was filmed outside the iconic Arena di Verona in Northern Italy. The spectacular venue is one of the last intact Roman amphitheatres in the world.
Matteo, who is an accomplished musician like his father, played the grand piano to accompany his acoustic version of the seasonal classic.
As if that isn’t enough for his fans, he has also just confirmed the release date for his second solo single which follows his solo debut, also called, confusingly, Solo.
Matteo posted the news on his Instagram page to his devoted fans and announced: “My second single will be released on January 14th worldwide! I can’t wait for you to hear it!”
He is still only 23 but made his public debut at just 18, when he was called on stage from the audience by his father and legendary music producer David Foster, to sing at the annual Andrea Bocelli Foundation gala.
