Martin Compston shared a sweet smooch with his loving wife Tianna Flynn on Thursday after the Line of Duty star took home two National Television Awards.
The cast and crew of the hit BBC crime drama took to the stage to accept their well-deserved award for Best Returning Drama as well as the Special Recognition Award.
After his incredible success, the 37-year-old actor shared a tender kiss with his ever-supportive wife to mark the occasion.
The accredited actor looked suave as ever as he donned a classic tuxedo with a dapper bow tie or the occasion as his stunning partner put on a leggy display as she opted for a glamorous velvet dress for the event.
After the awards the pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they shared a loving kiss while they flaunted Martin’s two trophies.
The happy couple have been married since 2016 and welcomed their first child together in 2019 as they announced their son Brodie’s arrival on Instagram.
But despite the loving couple’s clear adoration for one another, viewers couldn’t take their eyes off of Martin’s co-star Tommy Jessop, who played the role of Terry Boyle in the final two series.
As the cast and crew made their way on stage, Tommy made sure to make a big entrance as he showcased some of his classic dance moves up the stairs with the crowd going wild for his dad dancing.
And the impromptu routine didn’t end there, as Tommy continued to swing his hips on stage before he ended the dance with a muscular pose on the ground as his fellow colleagues cheered him on.
In the first series, the role of Terry Boyle was portrayed by Elliot Rosen, but when the actor made a sudden return on series five Jessop took over the role.
And Jessop made BBC history as the first actor with Down’s Syndrome to star in a BBC primetime drama.
Martin, who played the role of Detective Inspector Steve Arnott, remarked in the winner’s room after the show: "Thank you to everyone who voted for us. Tommy was fantastic. I think he’s going to take the award!"
The TV drama received rave reviews earlier this year when the sixth series returned to our screens after the show was postponed due to the global pandemic.
