The 2022 Love Island cast have finally arrived back in the UK after eight weeks of sun, love and drama in the ITV villa.

This year's Love Island came to its epic conclusion with the final on Monday night (August 1), where Davide and Ekin-Su were crowned the winning couple.

Gemma Owen and Luca Bish were beaten to the crown as they placed runners-up, with Dami and Indiyah taking third and Tasha and Andrew finishing fourth.

However, their time in sunny Mallorca is finally over, which meant it was only a matter of time before the loved-up couples were due to fly back to the UK.

The couples touched down at London's Stanstead Airport on Wednesday at noon, where they were greeted by family and fawning fans desperate to meet their favourite new islanders.

The dazzling stars left the airport together and looked absolutely gobsmacked with the excitable reception they got from screaming fans.

Champs Davide and Ekin-Su looked more loved-up than ever as they posed for paparazzi photos outside the airport at a red-carpet style pop-up surrounded by Jet2Holidays banners.

The 2022 islanders also took time to take sweet snaps with admirers after their arrival; one heartwarming moment saw Indiyah take a photo with a fan and compliment the picture.

It comes after it was revealed Davide and Ekin won the series final by a landslide in one of the most dominant victories on record for the show.

The last landslide victory on Love Island came when Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer bagged the £50k prize money with a record 80 per cent of the public vote.
