Hollyoaks fans speechless as Ellis Hollins is unrecognisable after body overhaul

Lovable Hollyoaks child star Ellis Hollins looked totally unrecognisable as he ditched his shirt to show off his naked rippling torso in a recent social media post.

The 20-year-old, who is due to celebrate a mile stone birthday in the next few weeks, sent pulses soaring as he unveiled the hard work he'd been putting in at the gym.

Flexing his bulging bicep in a shirtless mirror selfie, he told his 96,000 fans: "Watch this space."

Now all grown up and appearing fitter than ever, he looked totally different to Channel 4 child star Tom Cunningham, that we all remember.

Ellis shot to fame on the soap when he was just age three and went on to scoop up a number of awards for his acting skills.

17 years on and now an adult, he's certainly not the talkative little Tom anymore, if his buff snaps are anything to go by.

Despite the setbacks of lockdown and the ongoing pandemic preventing gyms from opening a few months back, Ellis has remained determined to stick to his weight training.

In another image, shares on his official page, he sported a skintight black workout top that amplified his defined pectorals.

The previously self confessed "unfit, asthmatic kid at school" wanted to inspire others to stay devoted to their fitness goals during current times, sharing his personal journey in the form of a selfie.

He penned: "Progress. Blessing and protection to anyone who's feeling the effects of gyms closing.

"Maintain your motivation and get WHAM at home."

The motivational post certainly seemed to gain a lot of social media traction from spectators who had to double take to ensure it was actually "Tom from Hollyoaks".

One fan exclaimed: "When did you get so hot, totally turned my head."

Another asked: "Wait are you Tom off Hollyoaks?"

A third said: "Killing it Ellis."

While former co-star Kiza Deen, who played Sonia Albright on the C4 soap, could barely believe her eyes, she simply commented "Grown" beneath the post.
