Denise Welch offered some words of wisdom to fans this week, as she lifted the lid on the motivation behind her two stone weight loss.
The 62-year-old shared a throwback swimwear shot from her trip to Barbados last Christmas, reflecting on the lifestyle revamp that kick-started her body transformation.
Featuring a peephole neckline, Denise looked radiant in the black one-piece, which was splashed with colourful floral prints.
Her hands resting on her narrow waist, the ITV star paired the swimsuit with some black crisscrossed sandals and a pair of shades, her platinum locks swept back from her face.
Loose Women star Denise recalled having an "addictive" relationship with food before embarking on her fitness journey, leading to breathlessness and bloating.
Promoting the company Lighter Life in the post, she credited the franchise – which creates weight loss plans for subscribers – with helping her to nurture a healthier relationship with food and nutrition.
Encouraging fans to focus on maintaining their weight loss, she mused: "7 yrs ago I had gained over 2stone as a result of giving up alcohol and swapped it for bad food!! Addicts often replace one addiction for another.
"I felt unhealthy, bloated, breathless and my knees and back ached. I started @lighterlife and lost 2st in 2 mths. I've maintained ever since and it changed my relationship with food."

The TV personality made headlines this week when it was revealed she has joined the cast of Hollyoaks, playing mum to Nikki Sanderson's Maxine Minniver.
Appearing on the Channel 4 soap in the new year, Denise will play a dance teacher named Trish, joined by a mysterious boyfriend named Brad.
Both Nikki and Denise have worked together before on the set of Coronation Street, playing the characters of Natalie Barnes and Candice Stowe.
Speaking about her upcoming role, Denise said: "I am thrilled to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks in this, their 25th year.
"I'm looking forward to working with some old friends and making new ones. The character of Trish Minniver is an actor's dream and I can't wait to introduce her to you."
