Robert De Niro teams up with Al Pacino and Joe Pesci for Scorsese gangster epic

The hair might be greyer than the last time they worked together but these film behemoths bring a mighty 387 years of experience to their latest mobster movie.

Robert De Niro , 76, is joined by Joe Pesci, 76, Al Pacino, 79, and Harvey Keitel, 80, for 76-year-old Martin Scorsese’s gangster epic The Irishman, which uses anti-aging technology for the stars to play younger versions of themselves.

De Niro is reunited with Scorsese and Pesci for the first time since Goodfellas in the 1990s.

They attended the New York Film Festival before a November 8 UK release and Netflix launch on the 27th.

Meanwhile, Mickey Rourke says he has been in a secret 30-year feud with Robert De Niro – and claims the Goodfellas star stopped him landing a Martin Scorsese film role.

Rourke, 67, is angry at missing out on the part because he is “broke” and claims De Niro, 76, is smarting because he “schooled” him when the pair co-starred in the 1987 thriller Angel Heart.
