He said: "I love her wholeheartedly. I've never loved anyone how I've loved her."

After making the vulnerable announcement, radio host Charlamagne grilled the rapper over whether he saw the pair ever reuniting.

Stormzy voiced his doubts over whether Maya would take him back.

He said: "I would love for that to happen but I don't know…

"I would love to be the man who she needs, I would love to do all the things that make this work. I want to marry her, I want to have her children."

The Big For Your Boots singer then followed up by saying he's "lost" a future with Maya and he has been kicking himself for it.

He said: "I was pacing around my kitchen, I was pacing up and down for days thinking… f**** sake bruv… this one reckless night. You… all of those things brother; marriage, kids, the love of my life.

"You have put all of those things at [risk], and now look you probably won't ever… you've lost that. You know what I mean? You've lost that."

Recently, Stormzy dedicated his emotional new track Lessons to issue a public apology to his ex as he confesses his "biggest regret."

Responding to the accusations, Stormzy branded himself an "ar*****e" and said he was "inconsiderate" and "disrespectful" to the brunette beauty.

Stormzy told Ebro in the Morning radio show: "It was a very public relationship."

When asked by presenters if he had actually cheated on Maya, the rapper continued to deny the claims.

He continued: "It's good you asked me this, I didn't cheat. It's so mad because even with the song, I made a song called Lessons kind of addressing the situation.

"And since the situation happened, there was a lot of like, 'You're a cheat'."

"With the song aswell I kinda just stepped out and said like full accountablity."

"What I did was a big disrespect, what I did was very inconsiderate – like it didn't need to be cheating for it to still be a disrespect you know what I mean? Now's a good time to say I didn't cheat on my ex."
