Starz series Outlander has made household names of its two leads Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe. The actors play star-crossed lovers Jamie and Claire Fraser, who are propelled together through time. They first took on the roles back in 2014 and the show has grown since then.
What is Outlander star Sam Heughan’s net worth?
Hailing from Balmaclellan, Scotland, Heughan has become a Hollywood star thanks to his role as Jamie in Outlander.
Prior to Outlander, the actor had starred in the heart-warming Hallmark Channel movie A Princess for Christmas, Young Alexander the Great and First Mould.
He also had roles on the small screen in Party Animals, Any Human Heart, A Very British Sex Scandal and Doctors.

While his stage credits include productions of Hamlet, The Vortex, Macbeth, The Talented Mr Ripley and Batman Live as the Caped Crusader.
In 2003 he received an Olivier nomination for his turn in the Royal Court play Outlying Islands.
His work prior to Outlander would have contributed to his overall net worth as he built up his profile.
According to a report from Variety in 2017, Heughan and Balfe both make an estimated £86,000 ($100,000) per episode.
A total of 67 episodes of Outlander had been made to date, so Heughan would have been paid an estimated £5.7 million ($6,700,000).
This figure doesn’t take into account any pay rises Heughan may have received over the course of the series and his salary may have increased with the success of the show.
Also, both he and co-star Balfe have now also been promoted to producers on Outlander and this additional role is likely to have added to their pay packets.
Outlander season six has already been confirmed by US network Starz, so they will be getting a salary from the next series.

Heughan has featured in the Hollywood movie The Spy Who Dumped Me starring opposite Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon.
He will next be appearing in the action film Bloodshot with Vin Diesel and Guy Pearce.

The star’s other upcoming projects include SAS: Red Notice and An Unquiet Life portraying acting legend Paul Newman.
As well as his dramatic enterprises, Heughan has launched a whisky called The Sassenach which he created and nods to his Outlander role.
Sassenach is the term of endearment Jamie uses when addressing his wife Claire.
Altogether with his acting endeavours and his whisky brand, Heughan has accumulated a vast wealth.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Heughan is worth an estimated £4.3 million ($5 million).
However, this figure could be more given the blockbuster projects he’s attached to and becoming a producer.
His wealth is likely to be going up as his stardom rises further and he becomes more high profile.
