Philippe Zdar, known as one-half of duo Cassius, has sadly died.
The French producer and DJ, who was in his early 50s, died due to an accidental fall from a building in Paris on Wednesday (June 19), his agent confirmed to BBC.
“He made an accidental fall, through the window of a high floor of a Parisian building,” the agent confirmed.
Cassius produced for acts like Beastie Boys and Franz Ferdinand, and their first album in three years, Dreems, is due to be released on Friday (June 21).
Police are reportedly investigating the accident.
Stars including Calvin Harris and David Guetta have voiced their condolences on social media.
