PewDiePie has branded Trisha Paytas a ‘liar’ and a ‘manipulator’ after her drama with fellow YouTubers Ethan Klein and Nikocado Avocado.
If you thought the YouTube drama was over, think again.
Starting his video by replaying a clip of Trisha, who’s best known for mukbangs (eating videos), jokingly calling herself a ‘Teletubby’, the YouTube star brutally said: ‘She might be a lot of things. Teletubby is not one of them. Liar, manipulator, playing victim, aggressive, abusive, not a Teletubby.’
Pewds – real name Felix Kjellberg – went on to recount the Celebrity Big Brother star’s drama with Nikocado Avocado, which saw him accuse her of offering to collaborate before ignoring him.
The star, who was recently beaten to the 100 million subscribers mark by competitor T-Series, then played clips of Trisha claiming she had never offered to collaborate with Nikocado, before ripping into her.
‘She just completely changed the story, because Trisha can’t be the bad person,’ the 29-year-old sarcastically said.
‘The reason why she ghosted him was because she was “scared” of him. That’s right. Because Nikocado Avocado had a thumbnail where he had a knife and said, “I’ve had enough,” and she’s just scared of him.’
Felix then referenced Trisha’s recent row with Ethan Klein (known online as H3H3Productions).
In a previous YouTube video, Ethan compared photos of Trisha with and without makeup, marvelling at the difference and describing one as ‘Coachella versus open casket funeral’.
Later tweeting Ethan’s wife Hila, Trisha wrote: ‘Please @HilaKleinH3 – do not raise your child to be as ignorant as your husband. I would divorce him ASAP as he is causing so much damage to young women. its actually SICKENING. I’ve never been more disgusted. that you stand by him is even more disgusting [sic].’
‘I think that’s pretty fair,’ Felix said sarcastically, responding to Trisha’s tweet in his video. ‘Just tweeting someone’s pregnant wife [about] how to raise their child. And to leave their husband. Jesus Christ. Could she have been any more gross about it?’
He added: ‘I feel like Trisha just belongs in this category of YouTubers that just have no shame.’
Trisha has since responded in a video titled ‘pewdiepie made a video about me.’
Describing the video as the ‘nail in my YouTube coffin’, she said: ‘Hate weighs on you…immediately I just want to fix it and talk.’
She admitted: ‘On my first watch-through, I was like, “Oh my god, I am an awful person.” He, like, had me hating myself too.
‘Those are terms I would never describe myself as but people have described me as that.’
The 31-year-old added: ‘Ultimately, my goal moving forward is to show everyone I’m a good person.’
Thinking back on her various ‘scandals’, the star marveled: ‘I laugh because I’m like how did it spiral here?’
‘But, maybe there’s a rainbow at the end of it. There is a rainbow at the end of it,’ she decided.
Speaking about PewDiePie’s former status as the most-subscribed individual on YouTube, she reasoned: ‘I was ultimately flattered…I was honoured. It was almost like SNL making fun of you, right?’
That’s definitely one way to look at it.
