Peter Andre vows daughter Princess, 14, will ‘never glam up again’ after red carpet debut

Peter Andre has vowed to never let his teenage daughter Princess "glam up again" following the Pride of Britain Awards on Saturday.

During the evening, the Australian singer was accompanied by his wife Emily and his children Junior, 16, and 14 year old Princess, both who he shares with ex Katie Price.

The 48 year old was every inch the proud dad as he spoke of his brood during the event, stating: "This is Princess' first red carpet," Peter explained at the event."

Speaking of Princess further, who was labelled as her mum Katie's "lookalike", the Mysterious Girl hitmaker continued: "It's also the first and last time she'll EVER be glammed up!"

Peter was clearly proud of Princess despite the joking remark, posting a close-up photo on Instagram of his daughter on the red carpet.

"Beautiful. My daughter all grown up," he captioned.

During the event on Saturday evening, Princess wore a minimal halter-neck dress with her blonde hair in a high ponytail.

Peter has been open about struggling with Princess becoming interested in glamming up, mentioning before that he wishes she'd embrace her natural beauty.

In a recent Instagram photo, Peter insisted that she does not wear makeup most of the time on social media.

"Can I be more proud of you my daughter?" he captioned.

"Btw, I don't know what she did to this picture, but one thing's for sure, she is NOT wearing makeup.

"And damn you made me look good. Anyways, love you so much @officialprincess_andre."

The TV personality has spoken out before about being against his 14 year old daughter indulging in beauty practices.

"Every dad out there dreads the moment their daughters get to be teenagers," he has said.

However, his ex Katie, who is 'preparing to return to work', has defended her teen daughter's love for makeup.

She said previously: "If she wants to put makeup on then let her. She absolutely loves it.

"She worries about what her dad says. She has got a mum like me, of course, she is going to put heels on and makeup on and stuff like that.
