Paul Mescal has been spotted on what appears to be a coffee date with A-lister Angelina Jolie.
Paul, 26, is currently starring in the theatre adaptation of A Streetcar Named Desire in London, which Maleficent star Angelia recently went to see at the Almeida theatre.
The Normal People actor is starring as Stanley in the play which dramatises the experiences of Blanche DuBois. It also features Killing Eve season four star Anjana Vasan as Stella.
Unlikely duo Paul and Angelina were seen chatting at the theatre cafe over a post-show coffee, joined by Angelina's 16 year old daughter Shiloh.
They appeared to be the only ones in the cafe as they casually chatted to one another over a drink.
In the snap obtained by MailOnline, Paul cut a casual figure in a red tee while Angelina, 47, wore a black jacket with her brunette tresses down and partly held back with a clip.
Meanwhile, her lookalike daughter Shiloh appeared to be dressed for London’s colder climes and could be seen wearing a white knitted hat.
The pair’s meet-up comes after Paul is said to have called time on his relationship with Motion Sickness songstress Phoebe Bridgers.
They confirmed their romance in 2021, with them going on to spark engagement speculation last year.
However, fans of the duo have since questioned if they’ve called it quits after Phoebe, 28, was seen “flirting” with comedian Bo Burnham.
The singer later added fuel to the fire after speaking candidly about heartbreak.
Appearing on Amelia Dimoldenberg's Chicken Shop Date last month, the 28 year old shared her top tips for getting over a break-up and what heartbreak has taught her over the years.
Phoebe said: "You just have to do it, and it's going to end at some point, but you can't make it end. That's my thing."
Amelia, 28, then asked what heartbreak had taught the singer, to which she responded: "I think if I had figured that out, I wouldn't be making music still."
Paul and Phoebe's relationship started like many now do – online, after Paul started following Phoebe on Instagram during the 2020 lockdown.
Describing Paul as the "cute boy from Normal People", Phoebe told NME: "I got a little pitter-patter in my heart when I saw [that he had followed me].”
The pair went on to do an Instagram Live together, where Paul told her: "I think it's well documented that I love your music."
Phoebe replied: "Well, that makes me blush."
After the Instagram Live ended, the couple reportedly stayed online chatting for hours, as they realised they could possibly go on to be more than friends.
