Olivia Bowen and husband Alex share sweet snap cuddled up in bed as they announce baby news

Olivia Bowen and husband Alex Bowen have shared an adorable image of them snuggled up together as they continued to bask in the excitement of their baby news.

The celebrity couple, who met on Love Island back in 2016, have gone from strength to strength since emerging from the ITV2 reality TV show in second place.

And after sharing a series of throwbacks about their "wild" engagement in New York just over five years ago, the loved-up pair decided to share their pregnancy announcement with the rest of the world on New Year's Day.

Olivia, 27, shared her excitement at their growing family as she declared "finally" alongside a teary-eyed emoji on her Instagram stories.

The stunning blonde grinned, as Alex leaned in and planted a kiss on his beloved wife's cheek.

The couple couldn't have looked happier to be celebrating new life at the beginning of 2022.

In her original post, the mum-to-be teased her followers: "Happy New… Baby Bowen."

She then shared a sweet collage of images that featured the couple smiling, with their ultrasound pictures, and a snap of Olivia's already blooming baby bump.

There was also a T-shirt reading "baby Bowen" and some adorable little cotton booties.

It wasn't long ago that Olivia revealed she and Alex had been "talking about kids recently", as she gushed she would "love" to have a baby in the near future.

The star got her wish as despite admitting she was "such an un-motherly person", Olivia insisted she and Alex have done a lot of growing up and something changed.

“It was a bit of a revelation – I’ve got a picture of us when we decided that we’d not worry about contraception any more," she said.

"We’re not putting any pressure on it, but that’s our next step.

"I feel like I’m such an un-motherly person, but suddenly something changes. You just grow up. We’ve got so much to look forward to," Olivia added.
