Oliver Proudlock cuddles wife Emma-Louise’s baby bump and calls it his ‘happy place’

Oliver Proudlock has said that he is in his “happy place” after announcing together with his wife Emma-Louise that the pair are expecting their first child together.

The 33-year-old former Made in Chelsea star shared a photo of himself cradling Emma-Louise’s blossoming baby bump while the pair lay in bed together on Monday, 20 December.

“Happy place,” the father-to-be simply captioned the snap, leading fans to leave sweet comments.

“Congratulations to you both! You two are going to be the coolest & most wonderful parents. Sending you all so much love & many blessings always xxxx yeah baby!” One follower wrote.

“Awesome news! Congratulations guys! Best Christmas present ever!”, a second added.

Fellow Made In Chelsea stars also offered their congratulations to Proudlock following the photo, as longtime friend Alex Mytton sent him three love hearts, while Zara McDermott posted three smiley face love heart emojis.

Proudlock's comments come days after he and wife Emma-Louise announced that they are expecting their first child together in a touching post on Instagram.

The married couple had also celebrated their first wedding anniversary and marked both special moments with a video montage of their wedding day last year, followed by a black-and-white clip of the pair one year on as they gave fans their new family update.

Proudlock is seen perched on stairs while Emma-Louise is stood over him smiling as he showed her a baby jumper with the words ‘Yeah Baby!’ stitched on – recalling his iconic catchphrase.

“1 year married, 1 yeah baby on the way. We are bursting with love and gratitude for our very precious little growing gift!” the couple captioned the video on both their Instagram pages.

Ever since they announced the exciting news, model Emma-Lou has been showing off her growing bump.

Oliver and Emma-Louise, 30, got married in December 2020 in a small ceremony as they managed to go ahead with their wedding after a year of marital restrictions across the nation.

In the photos the couple shared on social media of the ceremony, Emma-Louise looked a vision as she wore a long sleeved, white lace wedding dress with a huge bow detail at the back and a sweeping veil and train.

Proudlock appeared his signature dapper self beside his new wife in the photos wearing a black three-piece suit, a white shirt underneath and a cream tie and matching corsage.
